The Bunny Hay Loft offers tender loving bunny care for your house rabbits while you are away from home for vacations or trips.

The Bunny Hay Loft is safe, comfortable, and convenient to rabbits of all sizes, shapes, colors, and breeds. Your little ones are kept in spacious pens with toys, nests, and lots of healthy food and fresh water. They get daily attention and exercise during their stay with us.

Advance reservations are recommended. We do fill up quickly during certain holiday and vacation times, so check in as soon as your plans are firm to make sure we have room for your loved ones. If you don't have much advance warning, check with us anyway to see if we can handle your emergency needs.

We work with Dr. Anderson at Calaveras Veterinary Clinic in Milpitas. In the unfortunate event that your bunny needs to visit a vet during her stay with us, please either make arrangements with your own regular vet (and let us know who your vet is) or work with us to make payment arrangements with our regular vet. We will make all possible efforts to contact you before taking your pet to the vet. If emergency care is needed, we may have to go to an after-hours clinic or hospital, and the costs will be added to your bill.
Be sure to ask for a fresh supply of hay and pellets for your critters. Let us know when you drop them off, and we can have the supplies ready when you pick them up again.

Rates And Accommodations

Our accommodations include a single-pet cage or pen (except in cases of bonded pairs or families), a fresh litterbox with mixed hay, nutritious timothy pellets, fresh vegetables at meal times, and fresh water.

Owners can provide special treats or preferred foods. If your bunnies need any medications or special treatments, please provide them and your vet's instructions for their use.

• For one bunny in a single-pet enclosure or cage: $12.00 per night
• Call for rates on multiple bunnies.

A 30% deposit is required for stays of two weeks or longer. For these extended visits, we need a deposit and reservation one week before you drop off your friends.

Reservations are strongly recommended for ALL stays, to make sure we are prepared to give your furry friends the best possible care.
