Note: For these products, we suggest that customers who are not local to San Jose and the surrounding area order from Oxbow Hay directly. Buying from us is most cost- and time-effective for people who can drop by and pick up their supplies in person.

Hay

Our guests enjoy timothy, alfalfa, and oat hay. All flavors are available in bulk (3-4 pound) bags, and some varieties (oat and timothy currently) are available in smaller servings. (Our webmaster appreciates these packages, as he suffers from hay fever, and hay can cause problems for hay fever sufferers.)

Pellets

Oxbow's Bunny Basics/T pellet is an excellent timothy-based food for adult rabbits. It comes in 5 and 10 pound resealable bags. For households with many (and/or ravenous) rabbits, a 50 pound bag is also available.

Bunny Basics 15/23 is an alfalfa-based pellet good for younger bunnies (under one year) and rabbits with special health needs (pregnant, nursing, or sick rabbits).

For your piggies, we suggest Cavy Cuisine, a timothy-based product especially designed for adult guinea pig dietary requirements. When served with a healthy helping of hay, it provides excellent nutrition for your pig.

Bedding

We now carry EcoStraw pet bedding. Made from high fiber wheat straw, EcoStraw is extremely absorbent and environmentally friendly. In addition, it separates when it absorbs moisture, making cleanup of your pet's box easier. Also, if your critters eat EcoStraw inadvertently, it will not harm them--it may even be beneficial to their digestive system. Some owners find EcoStraw much easier to work with than CareFresh. EcoStraw is available in one size--a 20 pound bag.

New! Order and pay online with your credit card!	The Bunny Hay Loft still welcomes your in-person payment with cash or personal check, but if you prefer to pay with a credit card, we now offer payment through Paypal. If you pay through Paypal, we will get email notification of your order and will contact you by email or telephone when your order is ready. This normally takes 2-3 days. You can then come to the Bunny Hay Loft and pick up your order. Prices for in-person payment and special orders may vary from the prices shown on this web menu. We generally offer a small discount off these prices for cash payments in person.
Important notes about web orders	Click below to add items to your shopping cart, and use the View Cart button to view your order. To check out and submit payment, either add an item to your cart or view your card and proceed to "checkout". If you do not have a Paypal account, you will create one when you enter your credit card information on the Paypal secure web site. Note that Paypal does not provide us with your phone number. You will need to add it in the comment field when you submit your payment. If you do not include a phone number in the comment box, we will email you when your order is ready. Alternately, you can call us 3 days after you place your order online to see if we have it ready. Also note that the purchase will show up on your credit card statement with the legend PAYPAL*ROBERT NOVAK. Robert is the webmaster for the Bunny Hay Loft and is handling the online payments. Don't be worried that Dianne's name isn't on the payment processor info.
